The two buildings contain temporary accomodation for university students and form part of a compartment in Ozzano dell'Emilia composed of seven buildings destined for residences for various age ranges.
The 50 residences located in each of the two four storey blocks are arranged around a central courtyard with access to each flat via an external comunal covered walkway. The ground floor units each have a small garden whilst those on the upper floors are provided with a covered terrace. An underground floor for car parking and technical services links the two buildings.
The exterior of the buildings is finished in a rendered cork strata which allows a continuous thermal insulation whilst allowing the external walls to breath.
